Pink Floyd Career Highlights

  • A "classic rock" band formed in 1965
  • Released debut album in 1967 entitled The Piper at the Gates of Dawn
  • David Gilmour replaced original vocalist Syd Barrett in 1968
  • Released Dark Side of The Moon in 1973, which became one of the best selling albums of all time.
  • In 1979, the band released the album The Wall, which was the soundtrack to a highly successful rock opera of the same name in 1982
  • Due to tensions with Gilmour, Waters left the band in 1985
  • Pink Floyd resumed recording in 1987 without Waters and released A Momentary Lapse of Reason
  • They released their last studio album, The Division Bell in 1994. They then toured together for the following decade and released a number of live albums.
  • In 2005 Waters reunited with the band for a one time show for Live 8.  Any rumors of further reunited appearances have been quashed by both Waters and Pink Floyd.

Being picture perfect is something that comes rather easily to the good looking members of One Direction. The British boy band looked at their dashing best as they got suited and booted for a glossy photo shoot and revealed that they just love girls screaming at them. The former X Factor competitors are unable to go anywhere in public without being mobbed by their fans, but that is just one perk of the job. She recently dyed her hair back to the shade that she is best known for but it seems it's not just Pink who is a fan of the girly colour. The singer's one-year-old daughter Willow was spotted out and about with her famous mother yesterday and was dressed in an entirely pink outfit.
