Ed Sheeran gets a tattoo inspired by Taylor Swift's album as rumours swirl they're more than just writing partners

Rumours have started to swirl that they could be more than pals and writing partners.
And it seems Ed Sheeran is doing little in the way of dispelling speculation as he's certainly proved his like for Taylor Swift.
The singer, who has a penchant for tattoos, has shown off a brand new inking inspired by the title and logo of Swift's new album, Red, which he collaborated on with her.

In a Twitter photo Ed can be seen signing a guitar while revealing the skin art on his left upper arm above his existing tattoos, which was inked by tattooist Kevin Paul, who has created all of Harry Styles' tattoos so far.

It seems the body art is a declaration of at least his friendship with the country star, who he befriended as they worked on a duet together.
Speaking about the song, Taylor showed her admiration for the hitmaker.
She told Daily Mail's You magazine: 'Ed Sheeran and I wrote a duet called ‘Everything Has Changed’ while sitting on a trampoline in my back yard. It’s a lot easier than you think.
'We had one guitar, which we passed back and forth, and then we baked an apple pie, or rather my friends and I baked it and Ed watched and then ate it afterwards.
'His performance at the Olympic closing ceremony was incredible – I really think that was his big breakthrough moment in the US.'
They have since posted photos together on Twitter and on Wednesday Ed even congratulated Swift on the album, which he now has a tattoo of.
He wrote: 'Congrats to @taylorswift13 for selling 1.2 million albums in a week, orrrrsssuuummmm .'

And she was obviously pleased with the notion as she then retweeted the kind message.
Rumours have of course mounted also as a result of Taylor recently splitting from boyfriend Conor Kennedy.
And it looks like they'll be getting closer come next year as Sheeran has been invited to play on her tour over 45 dates throughout the US.
He announced the news on Twitter: 'Happy to announce that I am special guest on @taylorswift13’s tour of North America next year... gonna be bonks.'
