Alyssa Milano shows off her shrinking waist during a night off from motherhood at Disney Upfronts events

It's always a struggle shifting the baby weight within the first year - let alone the first month that some celebrities try to strive for.
And Alyssa Milano is clearly enjoying being back in the spotlight, showing off her svelte frame, after giving birth to son Milo last August.
The Charmed actress attended the Disney Media Networks International Upfronts event at the Disney studios in Burbank, California, wearing a knee-length dress made of sea colours.

Working hard: Alyssa showed off her trimmer figure earlier this month at the Entertainment Weekly and ABC-TV Upfronts Party, compared to her baby bump at the Horrible Bosses premiere in June 2011

The top of the frock was detailed with a turquoise high V-neck sash, while the lower half complemented it with an electric blue.
As she set off for the event, she credited her make-up artists for making her look 'pretty'.

The 39-year-old has made a gradual return to the spotlight, enjoying a seven-month spell off work to welcome her first child with CAA agent David Bugliari into the world.
And in March, the former Melrose Place star began work on new ABC show Mistresses.

At the time, she reached out to fans, saying: 'Letting Milo take a nap in my arms before I have to go to work on #Mistresses. This working mom thing is no joke. You all made it look easy.'
Mistresses will soon fill the slot that has now been vacated by the much-loved Desperate Housewives.
The programme, adapted from the British series of the same name, tells the story of four women with very troubled love lives.
Alyssa will star as Sarah in the show, a married lawyer who finds herself spending most of her time with her handsome law partner rather than her husband.
