Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty finally take their romance public at Glamour Women Of The Year Awards
They've been quietly dating since the beginning of the year.
But last night, friends-turned-lovers Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty made their official debut as a couple at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards.
The Brummie presenter, 35, proudly posed on the red carpet with her Irish comic boyfriend, 41, at the star-studded London bash.
The So You Think You Can Dance? host
was wearing a monochrome jersey tunic dress, while her boyfriend
complemented her in a simple black suit.
Cat had been invited to event in Mayfair's Berkeley Square to present the Man Of The Year Award to War Horse star Tom Hiddleston.
The bash was the first time they'd attended an official event together following months of speculation about their relationship.
An onlooker said: 'Cat and Patrick looked very comfortable together.
'He was giving her little affectionate kisses, and had his arm draped protectively around her seat.
'It was clear this was their coming out as a couple, and he was keen to let everyone know that they were an item.'
The pair, who have been friends for 10 years, were photographed furniture shopping together hand in hand in West Hollywood earlier this month.
They are reportedly renovating Cat's £1.7million Beverly Hills mansion, and planning to move in together.
MailOnline revealed in February the couple were dating when Kielty was overheard telling friends about the new love in his life at a party.
Patrick was there talking to a group of friends when somebody asked him if there was a special lady in his life.
'He looked slightly sheepish and then said, "Yeah, Cat". When one of the men said asked, "Cat who?" he replied, "Cat Deeley".'
Their romance comes after Cat split from True Blood actor Michael McMillian last October following a four-month romance.
She previously dated actor Jack Huston for two years, and had a five year relationship back in England with PR executive Mark Whelan.
Meanwhile, Patrick famously had a long-term relationship with TV presenter Amanda Byram.
Patrick, made it known last year that he has been thinking of tying the knot in 2012, saying: 'I think that might be my New Year’s resolution... to get married.'
He and Cat have been friends since they hosted one of the original TV talent shows Fame Academy together from 2002.
The pair fuelled romance rumours when they took their second holiday together in Mexico in February this year, having already enjoyed a break in Northern Ireland.
Speaking about being unlucky in love recently, Cat said: 'I haven’t found my Prince Charming yet – and I’ve kissed a few frogs too! There are fit men everywhere, so it’s just a case of finding them. I’m working my way through them, one at a time!'
