What a lollipop-pet! Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross larks around with gorgeous daughter Eden

She was the perfect housewife in ABC's long-running and beloved series, but Bree Vandekamp was never the most successful mother.
Happily, Desperate Housewives was just a show and with Wisteria Lane becoming a distant twinkling memory... Bree's alter ego, Marcia Cross, can get on with living her own life.

And that means being a fabulous mother to her twins, Savannah and Eden, five.

The flame-haired 50-year-old enjoyed a fun day with the latter in Pacific Palisades today.

The mother and daughter team chuckled and guffawed as Eden revealed the lollipop she'd been sucking on had turned her mouth and teeth green.

The youngster was pretty as a picture in pink paisley while her mother looked elegant in jeans, navy blouse and a cream trilby style hat.

Marcia and her stock broker husband, Tom Mahoney, celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary this year.

Tom, 53, overcame cancer in 2010 and the year before Cross' mother told Closer magazine that her son-in-law might not pull through.

'It's heartbreaking to see Tom so ill,' Janet Cross said. 'It just breaks my heart that they've only found each other fairly recently and he might not be around to watch the kids grow up.

'They are the most romantic pair too. I just hope that Tom gets better, so they can have more of normal life again.

'His chemotherapy has been so gruelling and it's been so tough, but they're in love and doing the best they can.'
