Jennifer Connelly enjoyed a winter stroll with her much taller teenaged son Kai Dugan

In Hollywood the good looking apple does not fall far from the tree.
And Jennifer Connelly, who is regularly named one of the world's most beautiful people, was proof of this as she stepped out with her son Kai Dugan in New York on Monday.
It seems the 15-year-old has inherited his mother's good looks - but not her height.

The actress' oldest son - whom she had with photographer David Dugan - towered above his mother as they went for a stroll.
Despite the Winter's Tale actress being 5'7'' she looked decidedly small next to the teenager, who appear as though he had at least a foot on his mum.

Jennifer is certainly one lucky parent, as while most teenage boys avoid being seen with their mum, Kai happily walked beside the actress as they ran errands around the city.
The pair also looked like they had taken notes from the same style books with each combining denim and militarily inspire pieces.
Kai looked very dapper in blue jeans cuffed at the ankles with vintage boots, a blue and white stripped knit sweater and a utility jacket.
While his 42-year-old mother wore her jeans tucked into brown snow boots with a giant fur lined jacket.
Jennifer - who is currently filming Winter's Tale with Colin Farrell - has two other children Stellan, 9, and daughter Agnes Lark,  who is almost two, with her actor husband Paul Bettany.
She joked on the Anderson Cooper show last year: 'I’ve got a massive family now. It’s really unbelievable. They are all such extraordinary kids and they’re great together.'
Jennifer said she is luck as the children always get along.
'They never fight, they look after each other. They are loving.
'I am just blessed they are such great, really wonderful kids. Maybe it has something to do with the huge age gap between them, there is no competition and they all have so much attention and focus.'

The star does not however, plan to add to her family again.
'I think we should call it quits.
'It’s like trying to move an army getting out of the house and we go everywhere together, so it’s a lot of bodies to move.'
