Her ex-husband Peter Facinelli recently went public with his new romance.
But while Jennie Garth, who filed for divorce from the Twilight star earlier this year after 11 years of marriage, is moving on, she says it isn't easy.
The former Beverly Hills 90210 actress spoke out at an event in New York City on Thursday.
The 40-year-old actress told People: 'I think there will come a time when it won't sting so bad...But I'm not quite there yet.'
But Garth added: 'You know, I am happy that he is happy, though.'

Facinelli, 38, went public with his new love 28-year-old Thor actress Jaimie Alexander, last month when the couple attended the New York City premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 2 together.
The pair met last year while filming Loosies, a movie about a pickpocket played by Facinelli who comes face to face with a former one night stand played by Alexander.
'We've been friends forever and had a lot of mutual friends and we reconnected in the middle of the year,' Jaimie toldPerez Hilton. 'It was one of those things where I'd been single for a very long time and he was going through a lot. We sort of bonded.'.
Addressing the recent rumors linking her and her former Beverly Hills 90210 costar Luke Perry, Jennie explained: 'I love Luke and we are so close.'
'When you have someone you are that close to, you can be brutally honest,' she told TooFab.com.
'I don't think it's going to be a sitcom format,' she said.
'I don't know what it's going to be yet but it's going to be good. The two of us are going to be starring in it!'
