Sarah Jessica Parker and her pink princesses Marion and Tabitha make for the picture perfect family on the school run
It would be easy for them to sit back and let their nannies do all the work.
But caring parents Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick obviously take their duties seriously.
The A-list pair were spotted walking their children to school in New York on Monday.
The dynamic duo divided their
duties fairly, with the Sex and the City star looking after their girls
while the Inspector Gadget favourite took their boy.
Of the two it looked like Sarah, 47, had the more eventful journey however.
She certainly had her hands full looking after her three-year-old twin girls Marion and Tabitha.
They were dressed in matting, yet subtly different, pink-based outfits, with the different colours of their balaclavas being giving the actress an easy way of instantly identifying each.
The twins were delivered via surrogate in June 2009, seven years after her son by her War Games star husband Matthew was born.
While Sarah, who dressed in a green winter jacket, gloves, jeans and Ugg-style boots was looking after the twins, her other half seemed to be having a much easier time of it.
The Max Dugan Returns favourite was able to keep his hands by his side as he escorted 10-year-old James to yet another day of poring over text books.
Matthew, 50, has settled in co-starring roles with the onset of middle age, and is set to appear in forthcoming film Skum Rocks, which tells the story of an untalented rock outfit that manages to break big.

Green with envy: There would have been plenty of passersby who would love to wear such a jacket during the chilly weather
A clever idea: The Sex and the City actress gave Tabitha a white balaclava while Marion wore a pink one

Talk about a handful: The actress was tested to the limit as she marched across the road with her girls
It takes two: Luckily for her she had a helper on hand for when it became problematic to hold both
Meanwhile: Matthew had a far more laidback task as he slowly sauntered to school with his boy James
