Walk like an Egyptian? Heidi Klum gives a sneak peek of her sexy Cleopatra costume for this year's extravagant Halloween party

Forget Christmas, Halloween is Heidi Klum's favourite day of the year.
The supermodel is gearing up for yet another one of her extravagant costume parties, which each year sees her dressing up in elaborate, over-the-top outfits to impress her guests.
And Heidi, 39, happily posed in a golden and sparkly Cleopatra outfit during a fitting for her soiree, which will take place at Finale nightclub in New York on October 31.

The model smiled as she wore a very large and detailed sparkling golden head piece and even managed to show off her famous curves in a low-cut dress, that appeared underneath a feathered Egyptian robe.
The dress will ensure the stunning mother-of-four will be stealing the spotlight during Halloween.
Heidi even posted a video on her website that gave a behind the scenes sneak peek of the making of her costume, in which she tells designer Martin Izquierdo she wants the outfit to be: 'Big. Bold. Glittery.'
And despite the fact that the outfit looks rather heavy, the model ensured the designer she will still be able to 'dance the night away'.

In an accompanying blog post, she tells her fans of the long process that goes behind making the sizzling and unique costumes for the annual bash that she has been hosting for 13 years.
'As you'll see in the video, the making of my costume is quite an elaborate process,' she writes.
'It takes months of planning and a team of expert designers to put it all together. Costume designer Martin Izquierdo has been creating my costumes for me for years.'

Though this Halloween, it will mark the first time in years Heidi is flying solo for the party after splitting from her musician husband Seal in the summer.
The couple were known for their quirky his-and-her costumes, which in the past have included them dressing up as ravens, monkeys and the serpent and the apple from the Garden of Eden.
Although Heidi has found happiness again with former bodyguard Martin Kristen, it's unknown whether he will be taking over the dress-up duties and appear on her arm for the party.
