Beauty and Grace: Nicole Kidman bears uncanny resemblance to Grace of Monaco as she shoots biopic in fairy-tale ballgown

She is portraying one of the most glamorous women of all time for the big screen.
And no doubt Nicole Kidman felt like a real-life princess as she transformed into Grace Kelly for filming in Monte Carlo on Monday.
The actress looked breathtakingly beautiful in a fairy-tale style ballgown as she filmed scenes on a red carpet with Tim Roth, who plays her on-screen husband Prince Rainier III.

It's uncanny: Nicole bore an incredibly strong resemblance to the princess, pictured right in 1956, in her fairy-tale style ballgown
Nicole, 45, was sporting a strapless white gown reminiscent of a wedding dress with its full tulle skirt and sparkling silver detailing.
She also wore satin opera gloves with a matching wrap, and was seen stepping out of a vehicle and strolling hand in hand with Tim while surrounded by photographers.
Dripping in diamonds, Nicole bore an uncanny resemblance to Grace of Monaco, and also showed off the princess’ trademark blonde bouffant.

When the cameras weren't rolling the star was seen slipping on a heavy brown jacket to keep her warm in between takes.
As the cast and crew film in Monaco, Nicole has been seen looking glamorous in a series of scenarios for the role.
Last week she dazzled in a gold gown while shooting scenes aboard a luxury yacht.

And she even managed to look incredibly elegant while riding a horse during filming earlier this month.
The biopic, titled Grace of Monaco, tells the story of the Philadelphia-born star, who made it big in Hollywood before she married Price Rainier of Monaco in 1956.
Helmed by La Vie en Rose director Olivier Dahn, and with a reported $30million budget, the film also co-stars Parker Posey and Milo Ventimiglia.
Grace of Monaco is scheduled for release some time in 2014.
