A true style chameleon! Katy Perry gives a pretty petal dress a rock chick twist as she hits an indie concert
She was spending the evening at an
indie concert so Katy Perry decided to forgo her usual cartoonish style
and opt for a more rock chick look.
The star sported a pretty floral dress but gave her outfit an edge with the help of her accessories.
The 27-year-old was wearing a ruffled cream dress covered in blue and red flowers that was long at the back and short at the front and showed a hint of her black bra underneath.
Katy then gave her outfit a rock edge
with all-black accessories in the form of a floppy hat, cross-body
satchel, skinny belt and clunky ankle boots.
The Wide Awake singer was last night seen leaving the Henry Fonda theatre situated on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame after a fun evening out.
She had been watching The xx in concert at the venue and it seems that Katy had a great time listening to the music with fellow indie fans.
She posted on her Twitter page:
‘I always love seeing one single piece of confetti fall at an indie
show.’
It seems that Katy is enjoying some alone time after her divorce from husband of 14 months Russell Brand was finalised just over a week ago.
However her ex-husband has been stepping out on a near-daily basis with his latest squeeze Isabella Brewster, who is the younger sister of Fast & Furious star Jordana.
Katy has been seen cosying up
to musician Robert Ackroyd since Coachella Music Festival in April.
But the star has insisted she isn’t about to rush into a relationship with the Florence + The Machine guitarist.
She told USA Today: ‘That's not even appropriate to label.
‘There are times I go out and meet people and flirt, but it's not really appropriate to have anything serious.’
