She's seen in promos for the newest episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians asking boyfriend Kanye West for fashion advice.
But if their outing today is any indication, Kim Kardashian might want to stop.
The pair, who starting dating in March, went for a shopping trip in Los Angeles - Kim stepping out in a white T-shirt, hoodie and an unflattering pair of jeans.
The dressed down look is a far cry from Kim's usual hyper-glamorous daytime ensembles.
Although she wore her trademark stilettos, adding height to her petite frame, the skinny dark denim jeans did no favours for her pear shape.
It appeared she had given up altogether on deciding on a look - instead going for a white undershirt and a simple gold chain necklace.
Kanye matched in a grey T-shirt and hoodie, paired with dark denim, sneakers and a gold chain necklace.
'Hi babe. I'm so excited your coming tonight,' she says as he turns up to the apartment she's sharing with sister Kourtney.
She then seeks his opinion on what jewelry to wear with her little black dress and also asks for his thoughts on what purse to carrying.
She asks: 'Don't you think this clutch is too busy for this?'
Kim later tries to play down the romance with the Gold Digger star, telling the camera: 'I don't want to make a big fuss about it - we're just hanging out.'
Source say Kim, who has her own clothing line with her sisters for Sears and is considered a style icon in some circles, now defers to her boyfriend when it comes to her wardrobe.
He is rumoured to have suggested she needs to take her image in a new direction.
A source told The Sun in May: 'Kanye has been having chats with Kim about her style.
'He thinks she should be more like him, edgy with her choices. He keeps saying she should 'evolve' as a fashion icon.'
The source continued: 'Kanye says she plays it safe too much so has been trying to pick outfits for her to wear and encourage her to be more daring.'
The pair have been dating since March following her high-profile split from husband Kris Humphries.
