Beyoncé and her family enjoyed the celebrations.
The singer and her sister Solange headed to Texas to spend the holiday with friends and relatives and decided to share snaps of their activities.
Solange tweeted a picture of the sisters and five other girls all dressed in patriotic colours.
Beyoncé had donned a pair of red white and blue stars and striped shorts, a blue denim shirt and a bright red hat.
Meanwhile her sister had opted for a pair of red and white high-waisted shorts and a bra-let with a cropped denim jacket.
The girls look effortlessly cool as they posed in front of a series of huge chrome rimmed tyres.
Their friends and family are also dressed in similar colours and the girls strike a fierce pose into the camera.

Solange is dressed in a hot print blouse, a pair of salmon shorts and purple and yellow heels and finishes off her look with a chunky necklace.
The picture is reminiscent of a fashion shoot and the girls look effortlessly chic in the snaps.
On Sunday night Beyoncé demonstrated her star power at the 2012 BET awards picking up the
Best Female R&B Artist award in a bright yellow dress.
