From Khloe Kardashian and Dakota Fanning to Rachel Bilson and Jessica Alba, the A-list are star-spangled in latest must-have jeans
Scattered with a stellar
constellation of stars, Current/Elliott's 'The Stiletto' jeans have
become a favourite of all-American A-listers with a patriotic bent.
The jeans, a fashion-forward alternative to plain and classic blue-denim styles, have been spotted on the likes of Dakota Fanning, Jessica Alba and Rachel Bilson in the lead up to Independence Day.
But Khloe Kardashian was the first to rock the trend in West Hollywood on May 18th, pairing her rolled up hems with platform heels.
Then on June 16, Dakota Fanning opted for a relaxed look, pairing hers with a cotton pajama-style top and dusty pink slippers.
Priced at $220, the jeans have become a
star favourite for weekend outings, and have popped up on worldwide
most-wanted lists in magazines from Vogue to People.
Since the brand’s inception in July 2008, the American jean geniuses Current/Elliott have created countless of covetable designer It styles.
The skinny, but laid back style of its Stiletto jean has been popular amongst A-listers since its creation, with new must-have prints cropping up each season.
Last season's leopard prints flew off shelves after Sarah Jessica Parker, Katie Holmes, Carine Roitfeld and Emily Blunt were spotted wearing them.
Then, to feed the fashion hungry, the style arrived in alternative pastel colourways, and a bolder neon spray-painted version.
For spring/summer’12 the candy stripes, faded vintage florals and smudgy polkadots were popular, but it's the capsule collection of stars that is proving to be the next big thing in weekend denim - and its already selling out on Net-a-Porter.
The star-sprinkled collection also includes denim jackets and skirts - a casually cool spin on patriotic dressing for an effortless Fourth of July outfit, whether it's a backyard barbeque or to catch a fantastic fireworks display.
