Chloe Moretz showed off her slender
legs in tiny black gym shorts as she grabbed a bite to eat while filming
Carrie in Toronto, Canada yesterday.
The 15-year-old, who was wearing an adidas t-shirt and bright blue trainers, looked as though she might have just been to the gym.
The busy star carried a Subway bag with her, perfect to refuel on the go.
She appeared relaxed and looked very much her age wearing no make-up, with her blonde hair falling loose over her shoulders.
The young actress appears to be coping well with the pressure of her latest role, which has been a topic of much interest in the industry.
Chloe has divided herself between LA and Canada since starting work on her latest role, playing the leading lady in the Carrie remake.
She has said of the challenge: 'I am changing everything about me—my hair, my look. I’m doing my own take on [the character].'
'The script is totally different from the [original]. It’s more like the book.'
'It’s a more Black Swan version—it messes with your mind. You’ll see things, and you don’t know if you’ve seen them.'
Chloe initially spread the news via Twitter that she had won the coveted role originated by Sissy Spacek in the 1976 film.
'Never been so happy in my life! Thank you Kim Pierce (the director) and thank u MGM for the chance of a lifetime I will never forget!... Yes!!! Here we come Toronto,' she wrote.
Spacek made her career by playing telekinetic Carrie White, a disturbed girl with a psychotic mother who is picked on mercilessly by the popular kids in high school.
The film was directed by horror master Brian DePalma and introduced John Travolta to the silver screen.
Julian Moore is rumoured to have been cast in the role of Carrie's psychotic mother.
The film is slated for a 2013 release.
